View over South Bay with the castle in the background.
Aseaside town of two halves.
South Bay is the busier end, being connected to the town by a park and the cliff lift. Down at beach level, you will find amusements, rock and gift shops, plenty of cafes and restaurants as well as the harbour, RNLI station and a small funfair.
North Bay also has lots to offer including Peasholm Park, crazy golf, a miniature railway, some restaurants/cafes and The Sealife Centre. It is also home to the Open-Air Theatre which hosts plenty of well-known acts over the summer season.
Beautiful sandy beaches can be found at both bays (a wide expanse of dog friendly beach can be found at both sides too- look out for signs) along with rock pooling at North Bay.
